The Policy and Politics of Coastal Areas - This web based course with digital streaming audio and video, online testing and web discussion forum offers 3 credits in political science from the Iowa State University. The course addresses one of the most important and exciting areas of the US and of international venues - the Coastal Zones. Michigan State University offers the Virtual Watershed Program. The Institute of Water Research and the Department of Resource Development at Michigan State University offers a series of Internet-based courses leading to undergraduate credit, graduate credit or a professional certificate. Those individuals who complete all four courses (3-credits each) will receive a Professional Certificate in Watershed Management.
