Through this program, students have the opportunity to complete the courses necessary to earn a Texas high school diploma. The curriculum includes courses in English, social studies, science, math, Spanish, computer science, physical education plus electives that are available on CD-ROM and in a printed format. All 50 high school courses are available online, and many courses are available in print format. The UT Austin High School Diploma Program was authorized by the Texas State Board of Education in November of 1998 and is fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency. Credit earned may be applied toward high school graduation from Texas high schools in accordance with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Recommended High School Program.
